Responsibilities
- Own the full lifecycle of database and data warehouse systems, including performance metrics and service level agreements for MySQL, Postgres, CDC pipelines, and Redshift.
- Lead initiatives to enhance database efficiency and query execution speed.
- Develop and maintain internal tools that support data infrastructure management, upgrades, and performance tuning.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure robust, well-optimized queries are deployed against reliable and tested data models.
- Drive the advancement of data architecture to support growing data volumes, high-write throughput, and complex ETL workflows.
- Assess and adopt emerging technologies to improve the scalability and capabilities of the data platform.
- Support data engineering and analytics teams in optimizing warehouse performance through query optimization, schema design, and cost controls.
