Responsibilities
- Lead full lifecycle architecture and implementation of Salesforce Health Cloud for large healthcare organizations.
- Define and manage the technical vision for Health Cloud, prioritizing system scalability, security, and adherence to healthcare regulations like HIPAA and PHI handling.
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Health Cloud components such as Patient and Member Profiles, Care Plans, Care Programs, Care Teams, Health Timelines, Assessments, Care Gaps, and Utilization Management.
- Translate intricate healthcare business processes into robust, maintainable Salesforce solutions.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to business leaders, architects, and executives on Health Cloud functionality and implementation best practices.
- Make and guide key architectural decisions across Salesforce core, Health Cloud modules, integrations, data structures, and automation layers.
- Possess hands-on expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, Triggers, Batch Apex, and Salesforce APIs.
- Design and oversee integration strategies using REST and SOAP APIs, middleware platforms, and healthcare data standards including FHIR and HL7.
- Have solid experience integrating with EHR and EMR systems, and understanding payer and provider workflows and patient lifecycle management.
- Manage all project phases from requirements gathering through solution design, development, testing, deployment, and post-launch support.
- Evaluate and approve both high-level and detailed technical designs to ensure compliance with enterprise architecture guidelines.
- Promote Salesforce best practices, including governor limit management, performance optimization, and code quality enforcement.
- Provide technical oversight through design and code reviews, while managing architectural risks and technical debt.
- Lead and mentor distributed Salesforce teams, including developers, administrators, QA engineers, and offshore delivery units.
- Advise on Salesforce security models, data sharing rules, consent management, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Have practical experience with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines using tools like Copado, Git, Azure DevOps, and Jenkins.
- Work closely with program managers to align on project scope, timelines, risk mitigation, and delivery milestones.
- Champion innovation through proof-of-concepts, adoption of new Health Cloud features, and platform improvements.
- Engage in long-term planning, release strategies, and platform roadmap discussions.
- Have extensive experience operating in Agile and Scaled Agile (SAFe) environments, supporting sprint execution and release cycles.
- Demonstrate strong communication, leadership, decision-making, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
