About the Role

Position Overview

A leading organisation is seeking a Principal Project Manager to oversee high-complexity projects in Melbourne. The successful candidate will work across key sectors including Defence, Social Infrastructure, Transport, Energy, and Water, delivering outcomes that align with strategic objectives and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless project execution from initiation through to completion.
  • Manage client relationships and serve as the primary point of contact for consultants, contractors, and subcontractors.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in compliance with technical and regulatory standards.
  • Oversee all phases of the project lifecycle, including design coordination, procurement, contract management, budgeting, and scheduling.
  • Proactively manage change, risk, quality assurance, and health and safety protocols across concurrent initiatives.

Work Environment

This is a locally based role located in Melbourne. The position requires consistent on-site presence with no remote flexibility. The candidate must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment.
