We're looking for a Principal Security Engineer to lead our security initiatives in a fully remote setting. In this role, you'll define and drive the organization's security vision, ensuring systems remain resilient against evolving threats while supporting innovation.
What You'll Do
- Design and implement comprehensive security strategies that align with business goals
- Lead risk evaluation efforts to identify, analyze, and mitigate potential threats
- Ensure adherence to industry regulations and security frameworks
- Work closely with engineering teams to integrate security practices into every phase of development
- Advise on secure system architecture and validate design choices through rigorous review
- Coach and support less experienced engineers to grow their security expertise
- Translate complex technical risks into clear insights for non-technical audiences
- Champion a security-first mindset across departments through collaboration and education
What We're Looking For
- At least 7 years of hands-on experience in technology with a focus on security engineering
- Proven expertise in cloud, network, and application-level security controls
- Hold recognized certifications such as CISSP or CISM
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Clear and effective communication skills, especially when explaining technical topics to diverse stakeholders
