As a Principal Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in launching a new AI initiative within a rapidly expanding technology platform. Working closely with senior leaders, you'll help define the vision for AI integration across core products, shaping both the architecture and real-world applications of intelligent systems.
What You'll Do
- Design and deploy full-stack AI features such as automated customer interactions, smart reporting, and workflow automation within the core platform
- Integrate with advanced AI providers like OpenAI and Anthropic, adapting to evolving APIs and capabilities
- Develop reusable patterns for prompts, evaluation frameworks, and feedback mechanisms to ensure reliability and consistency
- Build internal tools that enhance developer productivity through AI-assisted coding, testing, and system migrations
- Collaborate across engineering teams to identify high-leverage opportunities where AI can drive meaningful impact
- Help establish responsible AI practices with strong observability, logging, and human oversight mechanisms
- Guide technical decisions and contribute to long-term architectural planning for AI-native systems
