VTekis Consulting LLC is seeking a Product Security Engineer to focus on medical device cybersecurity. This is a 100% remote contract position requiring immediate hiring.
What You'll Do
- Apply cybersecurity expertise to medical device product development.
- Conduct security risk assessments and implement risk management techniques.
- Ensure product compliance with relevant regulatory standards and frameworks.
- Manage multiple security assignments and meet critical deadlines.
- Collaborate effectively using strong communication and interpersonal skills.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of industry experience in Information Security.
- Working knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance frameworks (NIST Cybersecurity Framework, ISO27001, SOC2, HIPAA, GDPR).
- Demonstrated experience with security risk management techniques.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple simultaneous assignments on time.
- Commitment to working with a sense of urgency and embracing new challenges.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A Bachelor’s degree.
- Mandatory cybersecurity experience in the medical device domain.
Nice to Have
- Experience working in an FDA-regulated environment.
