Responsibilities
- Work closely with RM Pricing Transformation Analytics team to translate analytical prototypes into production models including associated scripting, error handling and documentation.
- Execute updates to production models, working with RM and NJ IT as required.
- Independently able to make minor changes to the production code if input or output structures change, e.g., fields are added, renamed or redefined, or service groups added
- Perform regular maintenance of production models including troubleshooting of TP 2.0 internal errors captured in the TP 2.0 error log.
Requirements
- Strong SQL skills (creating complex statements, views, tables, etc.)
- 2+ years of Python experience; pandas & scipy packages as well.
- Expert level proficiency in SQL, Data Modeling, Data Quality.
- Experience with an ETL tool (e.g. Talend, Data Stage, SSIS, Pentaho, etc.)
- Data Warehousing knowledge / experience (Dimensional and Schema design).
- Application development experience using advanced Python skills required.
- SQL Server query performance optimization, file manipulation, exception handling.
- 5-8 years of experience in systems analysis, applications development and systems architecture
- T-SQL experience - performance tuning, DTS/SSIS, stored procedures, triggers, views.
- Microsoft SQL Server dbms expertise preferred.
