Support the quality assurance of web and backend features as part of the AI Tutor team. Engage in functional and integration testing, analyze requirements, track defects, maintain test documentation, and collaborate in product discussions to ensure robust software delivery.
Responsibilities
- Conduct functional and integration testing for web and backend components
- Examine requirements to detect potential risks and edge cases prior to development
- Log and monitor defects using a bug-tracking system
- Keep test documentation up to date in Qase.io, including test cases, checklists, and plans
- Validate accuracy of analytics events and marketing attribution data
- Support testing of A/B experiments by verifying user flows, analytics, and experiment logic
- Take part in product and feature discussions throughout the development cycle
- Help enhance QA processes and tools for greater efficiency and coverage
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in QA, with emphasis on web and backend testing
- Solid understanding of test design methodologies and practical application
- Proven experience in cross-browser and responsive design testing
- Proficient in using browser Developer Tools
- Background in testing payment systems, subscription models, and third-party integrations
- Hands-on experience testing REST APIs
- Familiarity with databases such as ClickHouse and MongoDB, including writing basic queries
- Understanding of quality assurance's role across all phases of the software development lifecycle
- Detail-oriented, responsible, and focused on delivering results
- Strong command of written and spoken English

- Experience in test automation using Playwright with TypeScript
- Prior work testing mobile applications
