Responsibilities
- Create, document, and run functional and exploratory test cases for products relying on APIs and SDKs.
- Perform automation tasks as needed, reducing technical debt and filling critical testing gaps using existing tools developed by SDETs.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and SDETs to convert acceptance criteria into actionable test plans and identify missing test coverage or edge conditions.
- Take full responsibility for regression testing in assigned areas before each release and support overall release readiness.
- Assist in establishing and conducting User Acceptance Testing as part of a company-wide standardization effort.
- Record, categorize, and monitor defects with detailed reproduction steps, severity levels, and expected versus actual outcomes, ensuring resolution.
- Identify areas lacking sufficient automated testing and escalate them to developers responsible for unit and integration tests.
- Conduct testing across development, certification, and production environments and take part in release readiness evaluations.
