Responsibilities
- Develop and manage parallel end-to-end smoke and regression test suites using Patrol, integrated within Codemagic and GitLab CI for continuous delivery.
- Implement automated API and contract testing to validate GraphQL schema changes against mobile client needs, preventing backward-incompatible updates.
- Incorporate AI-powered tools like Cursor, Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini into daily tasks to generate test scripts from design files, create mock data, and streamline log analysis.
- Act as a proactive quality advocate by reviewing design mockups and API definitions early in the development cycle to identify potential issues before coding begins, and contribute to pull request reviews.
- Monitor system health through build statuses, Firebase services, error tracking in Sentry, and cloud logs in GCP to diagnose and document issues with actionable details for developers.
- Perform exploratory and pre-release validation across iOS simulators, Android emulators, real devices, TestFlight, Google Play Console tracks, and over-the-air updates via Shorebird.
- Conduct component-level and visual regression testing using Flutter Storybook to catch UI inconsistencies early in the development process.
