Lead the evolution of quality assurance in a global engineering environment by defining strategy, refining methodologies, and advancing test automation frameworks. This role is central to embedding quality into every phase of development, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable, scalable, and secure software delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and refine the end-to-end QA strategy, emphasizing automation-first and shift-left approaches to testing.
- Integrate quality assurance seamlessly into Agile and DevSecOps workflows, supporting continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
- Provide technical leadership in both functional and non-functional test automation, including performance, security, and integration validation.
- Lead the assessment and adoption of modern testing tools such as Playwright, Postman, Bruno, Virtuoso, Cucumber, SOAP UI, and JMeter.
- Establish clear quality metrics, KPIs, and reporting systems to track effectiveness and drive measurable improvements.
- Manage and mentor QA engineers, cultivating a culture of ownership, collaboration, and technical growth.
- Design and implement training programs to advance team capabilities in test automation, cloud-based testing, and emerging technologies.
- Ensure alignment between onshore and offshore QA teams, maintaining consistent standards and practices.
- Work directly with development leads, architects, and product owners to influence design decisions with a quality-first mindset.
- Champion innovation in testing practices, promoting continuous learning and process optimization across teams.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in QA leadership roles with a focus on automation and process transformation.
- Demonstrated ability to implement automation-first and shift-left testing at scale.
- Strong understanding of Agile and DevSecOps delivery models and how QA integrates within them.
- Hands-on expertise in test automation frameworks and tools across API, UI, and performance testing.
- Experience managing distributed QA teams and fostering team development.
- Skill in creating and delivering training and certification initiatives for QA professionals.
- Track record of collaborating across technical and product teams to advance quality outcomes.
- Ability to influence and align stakeholders around best practices in software quality.
