Responsibilities
- Controlling inspection status by using systematic tools such as inspection matrix
- Setting and applying practical inspection process of particular discipline based on Project requirements and International Codes (providing ITP & managing Matrix)
- Performing inspections on particular disciplines and recording its results on the forms as per ITP established
- Contribute to the improvement of the site quality by handling quality issues on the site in general according to the corporate and project quality standards
- Responsible for maintaining quality activities in accordance with quality management system established
- Updating inspection status by using systematic tools such as inspection matrix
- Preparing the Inspection records to be reflected on MC Doc.
- Performing surveillance that tests are conducted as per international codes and standards
- Reporting nonconformities and observations found during inspections to QC Supervisors and QC Managers
- Coordinating inspections with client inspectors
- Preparing NCRs under QC Supervisor or QC Manger’s directions
- Control NCRs to be closed out within the due date and supporting to prepare Corrective Action Plan properly
- Prepare, review and track material submittals required for the discipline Definable Features of Work prior to Preparatory Meetings
- Generating client Requests For Inspection (RFI) where required providing sufficient notice for hold, witness and inspection points
- Reviewing and tracking material submittals required for the discipline Definable Features of Work prior to Preparatory Meetings.
- Performing and coordinating inspection with client
- Carrying out QC Supervisor’s responsibility in their absence
- Conducting Preparatory Meetings with Subcontractors related to discipline Definable Features of Work
Requirements
- Application of Mechanical engineering principles and practices
- Design and installation of mechanical systems, including pumps, compressors, and turbines
- Mechanical codes and standards (e.g. ASME)
- Understanding of mechanical drawings and specifications
- Quality control and inspection techniques for mechanical systems
- General Preservation Method
