Analyze healthcare performance data to support continuous improvement in value-based care programs. This role focuses on transforming complex datasets—including cost, utilization, risk adjustment, claims, and quality metrics—into clear, strategic insights that guide decision-making across diverse patient populations.
Key Responsibilities
- Query and analyze large-scale healthcare data using SQL, Python, and analytics platforms to detect trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement
- Build interactive dashboards and performance reports in Tableau, Power BI, or Excel to communicate results to clinical and operational stakeholders
- Conduct root-cause investigations and assess return on investment for quality and cost-saving initiatives
- Translate regulatory standards and contract requirements into measurable data actions and program deliverables
- Monitor and forecast KPIs tied to value-based contracts, ensuring alignment with financial and clinical goals
- Collaborate with Population Health, Clinical Programs, Finance, and IT teams to ensure data consistency and strategic alignment
- Validate data sources and improve reporting accuracy through standardization and quality assurance processes
- Stay informed on evolving healthcare regulations, quality measurement frameworks, and analytics methodologies
- Act as a bridge between technical analysis and operational strategy, making insights accessible to non-technical audiences
Qualifications
Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in public health, healthcare administration, statistics, business, or a related field, along with at least three years of experience in healthcare analytics, managed care, or population health. Proficiency in SQL, Excel, Tableau, Power BI, or Databricks is required.
Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to turn complex data into practical recommendations, work effectively across departments, and maintain precision in fast-moving environments. Familiarity with provider networks, care delivery models, and quality improvement principles is essential.
