Responsibilities
- Conduct in-person, on-site interviews only.
- Collaborate with relevant team members to define and document functional and technical testable requirements under Waterfall methodology, or user stories and acceptance criteria in Agile environments.
- Partner with the QA Supervisor or QA Lead to estimate the level of effort for all project-related testing tasks.
- Support the QA Supervisor or QA Lead in maintaining and updating the overall test plan.
- Coordinate with QA leads, business analysts, developers, and database administrators to develop detailed, reusable test cases for functional, system integration, and regression testing.
- Support the Performance Engineer by identifying key business processes to be scripted for performance and load testing.
- Log all identified defects accurately in the tracking system within 24 hours of discovery.
- Raise issues or obstacles to the appropriate stakeholders within 24 hours of identification.
- Maintain clear and consistent verbal and written communication across teams.
- Actively attend and contribute to defect triage meetings.
