As a Regional Sales Engineer, you'll play a key technical role in advancing security outcomes for customers across Romania. You'll work closely with sales teams to understand client needs, assess existing security environments, and clearly explain how legacy systems fall short in today’s threat landscape. Your expertise will help shape customer understanding of what’s possible with next-generation protection.
What You’ll Do
- Explain the limitations of traditional security tools and how modern approaches deliver superior results
- Deliver compelling technical demonstrations tailored to diverse audiences, including senior executives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, support, and engineering to align solutions with customer goals
- Operate independently in a fast-moving environment, managing multiple customer engagements at once
- Travel as needed to support key meetings and on-site requirements
What We’re Looking For
- Proven background in endpoint or network security technologies such as EDR, AV, SIEM, firewalls, or HIPS/IDS
- Strong working knowledge of Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems
- Ability to communicate complex technical issues clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Self-driven mindset with a track record of working autonomously
- Fluency in both English and Romanian
- Relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- At least five years of experience in a technical sales or customer-facing engineering role
Preferred Skills
- Hands-on experience with malware analysis, threat intelligence, or sandboxing tools
- Familiarity with scripting languages like PowerShell, Python, or Bash
- Knowledge of virtualization or VDI environments
- Experience working with major cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Understanding of networking fundamentals such as the OSI model
- Industry certifications such as CEH, CISSP, OSCP, or SANS credentials
