NielsenIQ is hiring a Research Analyst

About the Role

As a Research Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting clients across the product lifecycle—from concept development to launch strategies. Working within a forward-thinking innovation practice, you'll analyze market data, prepare study summaries, and contribute to reports that guide strategic decisions for global brands.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support project planning by helping design surveys, define sample criteria, and structure databases
  • Process and interpret research findings using internal systems and analytical platforms
  • Generate visual summaries, including charts and presentations, to communicate insights clearly
  • Review datasets for accuracy and consistency, ensuring high-quality outputs
  • Draft reports and client-ready materials based on study outcomes
  • Engage with client teams through regular correspondence and virtual meetings
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain project timelines and efficiency
  • Provide guidance to junior analysts and contribute to team development

Qualifications and Skills

Candidates should hold a degree in Marketing, Economics, or a related discipline, with 2–3 years of experience in market research or a similar analytical role. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential, particularly Excel and PowerPoint for data modeling and presentation.

You should have a solid grasp of research methodologies, statistical analysis, and forecasting principles. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are required, along with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights. Familiarity with predictive analytics tools and digital collaboration environments is important for success in this role.

A postgraduate degree or MBA is advantageous but not required.

Work Environment

This is a hybrid role, combining remote and in-person collaboration. The organization promotes an open, integrated culture that values diversity, equity, and innovation. Employees benefit from flexible work arrangements, access to professional development resources like LinkedIn Learning, and support programs focused on well-being.

All employment practices are inclusive and comply with equal opportunity principles, ensuring fairness regardless of race, gender, age, disability, or other protected characteristics.
