Responsibilities

  • Welcomes customers warmly and builds rapport to better understand their needs and recommend suitable financial services
  • Completes opening and closing procedures that do not involve management oversight
  • Maintains a clean, organized, and well-stocked sales floor with properly arranged merchandise displays
  • Conducts sales and pawn transactions following established policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines
  • Manages cash and negotiable instruments in compliance with company protocols and legal requirements
  • Answers incoming phone calls according to company service standards
  • Clearly explains the legal terms and conditions of pawn and purchase transactions to customers
  • Communicates professionally with team members and supervisors using respectful and effective methods
  • Collaborates with colleagues to deliver a positive and lasting customer experience
  • Successfully completes all assigned training programs
  • Performs additional related duties as assigned by management

Requirements

  • Capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds
  • Able to perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, stooping, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting for extended durations as permitted by law
  • Willingness and ability to handle firearms and obtain firearms certification
  • Minimum age requirement is 18 years old
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrates strong motivation to serve customers, work with people, and contribute as a team member
  • Skilled at managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced retail environment
  • Proficient in performing basic arithmetic calculations
  • Flexible availability to work varying retail hours, including weekends and holidays, based on business needs
  • Comfortable using computers, POS systems, and standard office equipment
