Wipro is looking for a Ruby Developer to join our team as we build a modern, end-to-end digital transformation partner. In this role, you will design, develop, and troubleshoot software solutions based on specific client and project requirements, ensuring operational feasibility and cost-effectiveness.
What You'll Do
- Design and develop solutions using software like CAD and CAE as per client specifications.
- Test prototypes and designs, performing analyses like impact and stress analysis.
- Produce specifications and determine operational feasibility by integrating software components.
- Create prototypes based on engineering drawings and CAD models.
- Perform failure effect mode analysis (FMEA) for new client requirements.
- Provide optimized solutions by running simulations in a virtual environment.
- Ensure software is updated with the latest features to maximize cost-effectiveness.
- Enhance applications by identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing system designs.
- Follow industry-standard operating procedures while modeling solutions.
- Provide customer support and perform defect fixing.
- Develop software verification plans and quality assurance procedures.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems with minimal latency.
- Deploy programs and evaluate user feedback for resolution.
- Comply with project plans and industry standards.
- Ensure weekly and monthly status reports for clients.
- Maintain documents and a repository of all design changes and recommendations.
- Maintain client time-sheets.
- Provide written knowledge transfer and project history.
What We're Looking For
- Strong proficiency in Ruby.
- 5-8 years of relevant professional experience.
