Planar Systems was looking for a Sales Development Representative - Southern California

Planar Systems is seeking a Sales Development Representative to grow our business in the audio-visual industry across Southern California. You will be pivotal in developing new opportunities, maintaining client relationships, and managing our showroom presence in Costa Mesa, CA.

What You'll Do

  • Develop new business by reaching out to potential clients, attending industry events, and networking.
  • Drive business impact through lead generation and innovative campaigns.
  • Grow existing accounts by providing excellent customer service and offering new products.
  • Maintain the CRM for contact details and pipeline management.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to create and implement sales strategies.
  • Work with the marketing team to create marketing materials and promotional campaigns.
  • Manage the showroom to ensure it is presentable, stocked, and up-to-date with the latest AV technology.
  • Meet corporate and sales objectives.

What We're Looking For

  • 2+ years of sales or business development experience.
  • Professional and consultative approach with strong interpersonal skills.
  • High energy and sense of urgency.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with AV technology and industry trends.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
  • Valid driver's license and use of a personal vehicle.

Nice to Have

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience in the AV or another technical industry.
