Lead Technical Sales for Enterprise Security Solutions
As a Sales Engineer, you will serve as the primary technical advisor for major and enterprise accounts across California and the broader Western United States. You'll work hand-in-hand with sales teams to assess client environments, break down security silos, and design unified protection strategies across cloud, endpoint, network, and data layers.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Account Managers to build tailored, multi-layered security architectures that simplify tool sprawl for distributed organizations.
- Drive the full technical sales cycle—from initial discovery and conceptual design sessions to live demonstrations and competitive RFP responses.
- Manage Proof of Value initiatives, defining measurable success criteria that validate real-world performance and return on investment.
- Bridge customer insights with product development by communicating field feedback to engineering teams, helping shape future platform capabilities.
- Support regional go-to-market efforts by identifying emerging use cases and contributing to events that position the company as a security authority in the West.
What You Bring
- Minimum of seven years in technical sales roles supporting organizations with hybrid-cloud environments and decentralized workforces.
- Strong grasp of endpoint protection, SIEM/SOAR platforms, and cloud-native security frameworks.
- Ability to articulate technical details in business-relevant terms for executive stakeholders.
- Experience leading complex, multi-party procurement processes and virtual collaboration across technical teams.
- Hands-on proficiency in configuring, testing, and demonstrating security solutions across diverse IT infrastructures.
Preferred Background
- Familiarity with evolving cyber threats and compliance standards such as CCPA.
- Willingness to travel across Western states—including California, Washington, Arizona, New Mexico, Oregon, Idaho, Iowa, and Colorado—to meet clients and partners in person.

Compensation includes base pay ranging from $145,000 to $165,000, with on-target earnings between $215,000 and $235,000 including commission. Long-term incentives may also apply based on performance and company guidelines.
