Key Responsibilities
- Establish and scale the digital science function within the Digital Biomarkers and Remote Patient Management chapter, setting technical standards and scientific vision
- Design and implement a strategic roadmap for novel digital endpoints, from early research to clinical validation and integration into healthcare solutions
- Lead a multidisciplinary team of scientists, fostering technical excellence and scientific rigor across biomarker discovery, algorithm development, and real-world evidence generation
- Champion regulatory acceptance of digital endpoints by engaging with global health authorities and contributing to scientific consensus through publications and conference presentations
- Collaborate across clinical development, data science, regulatory, and intellectual property teams to align digital biomarker strategies with broader therapeutic and product goals
- Represent scientific leadership in cross-functional governance, shaping chapter strategy and long-term capability building
- Advance external recognition through participation in industry consortia and scientific forums, positioning digital health as a cornerstone of modern clinical research
Qualifications & Experience
- PhD-level degree in a quantitative life science or medical field with emphasis on large-scale data interpretation
- Proven track record of high-impact scientific publications and contributions to clinical development decision-making
- Over a decade of industry experience in pharmaceuticals or medical technology, with direct influence on clinical trial design or product development
- Deep expertise in designing and analyzing longitudinal clinical studies using digital health tools
