As a Senior AI Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and implementing AI-driven solutions within Salesforce and AWS cloud environments. Your work will focus on building intelligent agents, automation workflows, and scalable integrations that align with business goals across service, insurance, and field operations domains.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to define requirements and translate them into technical designs and user stories.
- Develop and maintain custom Apex solutions such as triggers, batch processes, and REST API services.
- Build reusable Lightning components using LWC and Aura, and configure experiences through Lightning App Builder.
- Design and optimize Salesforce Flows, including screen-based and record-triggered automation.
- Integrate Salesforce with external systems via REST/SOAP APIs, MuleSoft, and Platform Events using secure authentication methods.
- Support Experience Cloud portals for customer and partner engagement.
- Contribute to enterprise CRM initiatives and cross-system integrations, ensuring alignment with long-term architecture.
- Identify technical risks and dependencies, supporting project managers in delivering on schedule.
- Document technical designs, participate in code reviews, and support CI/CD pipelines for reliable deployments.
- Coordinate with distributed teams to maintain coding standards and delivery quality.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field with at least 5 years of experience, or a master’s with 3+ years in Salesforce development.
- Hold certifications in AI Practitioner, Machine Learning Engineering, and Salesforce Administration and Development.
- Proven experience deploying LLM-powered agents using LangChain, RAG, vector databases, and prompt engineering techniques.
- Solid background in Apex, LWC, SOQL/SOSL, Visualforce, and Salesforce DX workflows.
- Experience integrating Salesforce with external platforms using MuleSoft, OAuth, and event-driven architectures.
- Strong knowledge of Lightning component frameworks and UI optimization practices.
- Familiarity with Marketing Cloud for campaign and communication integrations.
- Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, with experience applying design patterns like MVC and Service Layer.
- At least 4 years working in Agile Scrum teams, including sprint planning and release management.
- Background in regulated industries such as legal, insurance, or field service operations.
- Understanding of full software development lifecycle, including testing, documentation, and deployment governance.
Preferred Skills
- Experience deploying AI/ML models on AWS infrastructure.
- Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD practices in Salesforce environments.
- Knowledge of security and compliance standards in legal or highly regulated sectors.
Work Environment
