We’re seeking a Senior AI Engineer to lead the design and implementation of intelligent systems on the Databricks platform. In this role, you’ll bridge advanced data workflows and machine learning innovation, building production-grade solutions that scale across cloud infrastructures.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and deploy AI and machine learning models using Databricks, Delta Lake, and MLflow
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to transition models from experimentation to deployment
- Refine and streamline data pipelines for efficiency, accuracy, and resilience
- Guide architectural decisions and deliver technical leadership on client projects
- Support junior engineers through coaching and knowledge sharing
- Stay ahead of emerging trends in AI, MLOps, and cloud-native data platforms
- Provide hands-on technical support during client engagements
What We’re Looking For
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- At least 5 years in data or AI engineering roles
- Proven track record with Databricks, including Databricks SQL, Delta Lake, and MLflow
- Strong coding skills in Python and Scala
- Experience deploying machine learning models in production
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP environments
- Working knowledge of Apache Spark, Kafka, Hadoop, and CI/CD pipelines
- Background in DevOps practices for data and ML systems
Preferred Skills
- PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or similar
- Databricks certification
- Experience with MLOps tooling and automation
- Understanding of deep learning, NLP, and advanced AI methods
- Consulting background with enterprise clients
- Work in regulated sectors such as finance or healthcare
Technology Environment
You’ll work with a modern stack: Databricks, Delta Lake, MLflow, Apache Spark, Python, Scala, and cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and GCP. Supporting tools include Kafka, Hadoop, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD systems.
