The Senior Analyst, Project Support plays a key role in advancing data capabilities within the Revenue Management Consolidated Center. This individual will design and maintain automated data workflows, develop performance dashboards, and deliver insights that shape strategic decision-making across Hilton’s global operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain Python-based ETL pipelines to streamline data processing and reporting
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries and stored procedures across multiple database platforms
- Develop automated financial and operational tools in Excel using VBA, Power Query, and PivotTable integration
- Connect to external systems via RESTful APIs, ensuring secure handling of credentials and authentication
- Profile and improve code and query performance using tools like cProfile and execution plan analysis
- Create and document data models, ETL workflows, and a centralized data catalog
- Collaborate with analytics, business intelligence, and commercial teams to translate business needs into scalable data solutions
- Guide junior team members through mentoring and structured knowledge-sharing sessions
- Advise stakeholders on analytics best practices and the effective use of data products
- Define success metrics and assess the impact of analytics tools in partnership with business units
- Design interactive dashboards and self-service reporting platforms to highlight revenue and commercial trends
- Implement CI/CD pipelines to support automated testing and deployment of analytics assets
- Construct star and snowflake schema data models to support efficient reporting
- Ensure all systems comply with security policies, including access controls and secure credential storage
Qualifications
Candidates should have at least three years of experience in analytics or data engineering, with strong proficiency in SQL and Python. Two years of hands-on development in Excel automation using VBA is required. Familiarity with data modeling concepts and experience translating business requirements into technical solutions are highly valued. Exposure to BI platforms such as MicroStrategy, Alteryx, or Power BI is a plus, as is experience with Airtable, Salesforce, GitLab, or Power Automate.
Work Environment
