Evidence Action is hiring a Senior Associate, MLE Strategy

About the Role

The Senior Associate, MLE Strategy plays a key role in advancing evidence-based programming within the Syphilis-Free Start portfolio. You will provide comprehensive support for monitoring, learning, and evaluation (MLE) activities across one or two Francophone country programs, working under the guidance of the MLE Strategy Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end execution of MLE initiatives, including survey design refinement, data collection coordination, analysis, and reporting
  • Collaborate with data collection partners and program teams to align on timelines, logistics, and deliverables
  • Produce and refine reports, data summaries, and design documentation to support program decision-making
  • Monitor project milestones, maintain work plans, and coordinate with regional and program-level stakeholders
  • Analyze quantitative and qualitative data using Stata, drawing insights from surveys and program monitoring systems
  • Uphold data quality through rigorous quality control processes, including instrument testing, deliverable reviews, and follow-up on data anomalies
  • Support high-frequency data checks and quality assurance protocols to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Work closely with MLE, program, and field teams to prepare, test, and validate survey tools and data outputs
  • Manage administrative coordination, project timelines, and cross-functional communication for assigned geographies
  • Engage with external data collection firms to track progress and maintain alignment with program goals
  • Contribute to cross-country learning and offer targeted support to other regions when needed

Qualifications

Applicants should demonstrate practical experience in quantitative analysis and possess a solid grounding in statistics or a related discipline. Proficiency with Stata is essential for success in this role.
