Responsibilities
- Construct and manage robust SQL-based data pipelines using tools like dbt, Snowflake, and Python
- Develop and oversee workflow orchestration systems such as Airflow or similar platforms
- Design and implement data ingestion mechanisms and API-based integrations
- Advance AI capabilities through development of LLM-powered applications, RAG systems, custom GPTs, and agent-based architectures
- Securely incorporate internal firm data into artificial intelligence processing pipelines
- Define and apply standards for system observability and data tracking
- Transition experimental AI models into reliable, production-ready software tools
- Support and manage AWS cloud infrastructure components including VPCs, ECS, EKS, and S3
- Package services using Docker and deploy containerized workloads on Kubernetes
- Implement comprehensive logging and monitoring practices for system reliability
- Create Python-based utilities for API connectivity, data processing, and internal tooling
- Develop modular, reusable code components while adhering to established coding standards
- Design automated workflows to minimize manual intervention in operations
- Collaborate with Investment, Client Advisory, Operations, and Finance teams on technical solutions
- Take ownership of project planning and execution with minimal supervision
- Convert business needs into scalable technical designs and system architectures
- Produce clear, executive-level summaries of data platform and AI project progress
