- Lead the evolution of our AWS-based infrastructure, including containerized workloads and IoT device coordination
- Develop and maintain internal, enterprise-facing, and real-time APIs that support robotic operations
- Build and sustain integrations with electronic medical record (EMR) systems to enable seamless data flow
- Own CI/CD pipelines using GitLab to ensure robust, automated deployments
- Ensure system compliance with healthcare standards through rigorous documentation, security practices, and privacy safeguards
- Make and justify architectural decisions that shape the platform’s future scalability and resilience
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
- At least 10 years of backend development experience, with deep expertise in Python
- Proven track record with AWS, Docker, MongoDB, and RESTful API design
- Experience designing systems that coordinate multiple services and data sources
- Strong ability to document and communicate technical decisions clearly
- Hands-on experience with monitoring tools such as Datadog and incident response
- Comfort managing compliance-related responsibilities, including cybersecurity and data privacy
