The Flex is hiring a Senior Backend & Frontend Engineer to help architect and scale the core systems behind Base360.ai, an automation platform. You will work across backend services, frontend interfaces, and cloud infrastructure to build the platform that powers real-time automation.
What You'll Do
- Architect core services, designing and building APIs, data pipelines, and backend services.
- Build automation at scale, developing microservices and event-driven workflows.
- Own the frontend experience, creating fast, clean, and intuitive interfaces.
- Engineer for reliability, designing fault-tolerant, observable systems for high-throughput workloads.
- Integrate the ecosystem, connecting to services like Stripe, Twilio, Airbnb, Hostaway, and other APIs.
- Lead with impact, driving technical decisions, mentoring engineers, and defining standards.
What We're Looking For
- Strong experience with Node.js / TypeScript, Python (FastAPI), or equivalent backend frameworks.
- Solid expertise in React or another modern frontend framework.
- Deep familiarity with AWS, especially serverless (Lambda, DynamoDB, EventBridge, SQS).
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices, and event-driven architecture.
- Experience building scalable, production-grade APIs and real-time systems.
- A passion for automation, intelligent workflows, and simplifying complex processes.
- A builder’s mindset — autonomous, fast, pragmatic, and product-oriented.
- The ability to lead initiatives and deliver high-quality software end-to-end.
