Rackspace is seeking a Senior Big Data Infra Engineer to join the Public Cloud - Offerings and Delivery - Cloud Data Services team. In this role, you will be instrumental in building and maintaining the infrastructure that supports our large-scale data services.
What You'll Do
- Design, build, and maintain robust, scalable big data infrastructure platforms.
- Collaborate with engineering and delivery teams to implement data services solutions.
- Ensure the reliability, performance, and security of data infrastructure components.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship on big data best practices.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a Big Data, Infrastructure, or Cloud Engineer in a production environment.
- Expertise in designing and operating distributed data systems at scale.
- Strong knowledge of public cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and their data services.
- Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work autonomously in a remote setting.
Work Mode
This is a fully remote position open to candidates based in Vietnam.
