As a Senior Business Analyst, you will collaborate directly with clients and development teams to uncover core business challenges and define effective, data-driven solutions. Your role is central to translating real-world insurance processes into clear requirements and system enhancements.
What You’ll Do
- Lead requirement-gathering activities using interviews, workshops, and analysis to capture complex business needs
- Design and document business processes and system changes, from concept to implementation
- Translate business needs into user stories and functional specifications for technical teams
- Develop comprehensive test cases and support QA, UAT, and release cycles through defect tracking and change validation
- Provide input on project timelines and task estimates, ensuring realistic planning
- Guide junior analysts and contribute to team-wide best practices in analysis and documentation
- Maintain and update procedural and process documentation as systems evolve
What You Bring
- At least five years of business analysis experience, with a focus on health insurance
- Degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related discipline
- Proven track record in Agile or Scrum environments, including backlog management and sprint planning
- Strong analytical abilities to interpret systems, data flows, and business workflows
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Experience documenting system functionality, data integrations, and operational procedures
Nice to Have
- Background in insurtech or digital insurance platforms
- Professional certification in health insurance (e.g., INS, LOMA, III)
- Technical writing experience for complex systems or web-based applications
