Xsolla is hiring a Senior Business Development Manager — Middle East & Africa, Fintech

About the Role

What You'll Do

As the regional leader for business development, you will shape and expand strategic partnerships across the Middle East and Africa. You will serve as the principal liaison for high-level external partners, including payment providers, financial institutions, and digital platforms, ensuring alignment between local market dynamics and global objectives.

You will identify and pursue new commercial opportunities that enhance scalability and long-term sustainability. Leading negotiations for multi-market agreements, you will balance global strategy with regional requirements, ensuring terms support both competitiveness and operational efficiency.

Working closely with product, legal, compliance, finance, and risk teams, you will help structure partnerships that meet business goals and regulatory expectations. You will analyze performance data to refine commercial models, recommend improvements, and guide regional pricing and routing strategies based on real-time market feedback.

You will act as a trusted advisor to global teams, providing insights into regional trends, regulatory landscapes, and operational constraints. Your role will include anticipating shifts in the financial ecosystem and advising on evolving commercial frameworks across jurisdictions.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years in business development, commercial strategy, or partnership roles within fintech, payments, or digital platforms
  • Proven success managing executive-level relationships across diverse markets in the Middle East and Africa
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate and close complex, cross-border agreements
  • Deep understanding of international fund flows, regulatory environments, and multi-jurisdictional operating models
  • Strong strategic and analytical mindset with a hands-on approach to execution
  • Fluency in English and Arabic required
  • Willingness to travel frequently across the region

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with global or regional platforms operating in emerging markets
  • Familiarity with payment infrastructure and regulatory frameworks across Middle East and Africa
  • Background in managing multi-country initiatives or informal leadership across regions
  • Exposure to compliance-driven partnership models involving multiple stakeholders
