Responsibilities
- Create and sustain embedded software modules using C++ with attention to design patterns, anti-patterns, and debugging techniques
- Deliver features related to vehicle connectivity and onboard services
- Integrate software components with electronic control units and in-vehicle communication networks such as CAN and Ethernet
- Build and maintain connectivity capabilities including WiFi, Bluetooth, cellular, and positioning systems
- Enable reliable data exchange between vehicles and backend infrastructure
- Apply expertise in automotive communication standards including CAN, J1939, UDS, DoIP, SOME/IP, diagnostics, and E/E system design
- Ensure consistent and correct operation across complex vehicle electronic architectures
- Develop and debug software within Linux environments, including command-line tools, kernel interfaces, system libraries, and Trusted Platform Module (TPM)
- Support system-level reliability, efficiency, and cybersecurity measures
- Design and implement service-oriented software architectures
- Work with inter-process communication and data transfer technologies such as D-Bus, gRPC, MQTT, HTTP, sockets, pipes, and message queues
- Use Python and Shell scripts to automate build, test, and integration workflows
- Enhance development speed and testing effectiveness through automation and custom tooling
- Carry out integration of embedded software across multiple components and subsystems
- Validate, test, and debug software at both component and system levels
- Participate in peer code reviews to ensure technical quality
- Maintain clean, well-documented, and sustainable codebases
- Collaborate within global, multidisciplinary, and geographically distributed teams
- Engage with architects, backend developers, and system engineers to align technical solutions
- Communicate clearly and professionally in English within a diverse, international workplace
