NVIDIA is looking for a Senior Client Platform Engineer to lead initiatives focused on our client platform, with an emphasis on the macOS fleet. You will apply software engineering and DevOps knowledge to craft a world-class service for all of NVIDIA, transforming the user experience through innovation.
What You'll Do
- Automate and manage macOS device configuration and software deployment using Configuration as Code best practices.
- Implement, test, and maintain GitOps workflows to ensure repeatable, auditable, and version-controlled changes across the client platform.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to troubleshoot, document, and improve platform reliability and user experience for macOS endpoints.
- Use good software engineering practices that translate to measuring developer productivity.
- Support advanced issues on tickets that arise in your field.
- Recommend changes to policies and establish procedures that affect the immediate organization.
What We're Looking For
- BS/MS or equivalent experience in Engineering or Computer Science.
- 8+ years of experience in Client Platform Engineering.
- Proficient with scripting languages such as Bash and Python and macOS management tools like Fleet, MDM, JAMF, or similar.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code or GitOps methodologies using platforms such as FleetDM, Chef, Munki, Chocolatey.
- Strong knowledge of macOS internals, endpoint automation, and enterprise support in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to Have
- Sincere dedication to the end-user experience.
- Product development and product management experience.
- Strong software optimization and debugging knowledge.
- Windows and Linux CPE experience is a plus.
