Responsibilities
- Create networking solutions for SaaS and PaaS applications deployed in private, public, or hybrid cloud environments.
- Architect and deploy network infrastructure for cloud systems, including subnets, routing tables, VPNs, and security groups.
- Maintain a holistic view of systems to deliver integrated, highly available solutions that comply with security and architectural standards.
- Address technical network issues promptly and professionally.
- Advise on strategies for migrating infrastructure to the cloud, including large-scale application transfers.
- Optimize network configurations to balance performance and cost efficiency.
- Continuously monitor network performance and availability, resolving issues proactively.
- Collaborate with application engineering, DevOps, operations, and clients to define connectivity needs and map full network traffic paths.
- Establish and document new standards for network deployment practices.
- Work autonomously, manage tasks effectively, and lead technical discussions with internal teams, vendors, and client stakeholders.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and technical guidance to deployment and network operations teams.
- Guarantee network service uptime in line with production SLAs.
- Build and sustain automation tools to support Network-as-a-Service requirements for Cloud Operations teams.
