Onebrief is hiring a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to ensure the security and integrity of our corporate environments. You will design and implement security solutions, lead incident response, and collaborate closely with IT and compliance teams.
What You'll Do
- Design and implement robust security measures to protect cloud-native and on-premises applications and infrastructure.
- Regularly evaluate and enhance security protocols to stay ahead of emerging threats.
- Work closely with IT and compliance teams to integrate security best practices into every stage of the device and application lifecycle.
- Provide evidence for security audits and respond to recommendations to improve overall security posture.
- Lead efforts to detect, respond to, and mitigate security incidents, ensuring minimal impact on operations.
What We're Looking For
- U.S. Citizen with ability to pass a background check.
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on cloud environments.
- Hands-on experience integrating enterprise cloud services with cybersecurity tooling.
- Deep understanding of cloud security principles, including identity and access management, encryption, and network security.
- Demonstrated proficiency in deploying, configuring, and managing cloud-based security solutions, including Mobile Device Management (MDM), Zero Trust, and SIEM/SOAR platforms.
- Strong skills in automation using PowerShell and Bash scripting.
- Experience deploying secure server environments using Amazon Machine Images (AMI) with commercial or open-source security applications.
- Experience with the implementation, maintenance, and hardening of security tools.
- Familiarity with operating systems and CLI (Linux, Windows, macOS).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Detail-oriented and proactive in identifying and mitigating security risks.
Nice to Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, AWS Certified Security, GIAC Cloud Security Automation (GCSA), Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP), GIAC Cloud Security Essentials (GCLD), or equivalent.
