About the Role
You will build and maintain the data infrastructure that supports event-driven customer engagement for enterprise clients, integrating data from diverse sources into Databricks and routing it through mParticle and Braze to enable timely, accurate audience activation for marketing and CRM teams.
Responsibilities
- Create and manage scalable batch and near real-time data pipelines in Databricks, pulling data from legacy systems, point-of-sale, web, mobile apps, CRM, and other sources
- Construct unified customer profiles by resolving identities, removing duplicates, enriching records, and generating Golden Records
- Design and refine data workflows from Databricks through mParticle to Braze, enabling customer journey orchestration and audience activation
- Develop automated systems for data quality checks, validation, governance, and monitoring to ensure data reliability and regulatory compliance
- Empower CRM and marketing teams with fast access to trusted, activation-ready customer segments with minimal delay
- Handle customer consent, preferences, and personally identifiable information across pipelines, adhering to GDPR, CCPA, and CPRA standards
- Diagnose and resolve issues in data pipelines and integrations, improving system reliability, performance, and cost efficiency
- Collaborate with CRM, marketing technology, product, analytics, and data teams within an Agile delivery framework
- Offer technical leadership through code reviews, mentoring, documentation, and promotion of data engineering best practices
- Support analytics and reporting needs across Databricks and tools like ThoughtSpot
