Design and develop robust ETL/ELT workflows to extract, transform, and load data from enterprise resource planning systems, including SAP ECC and S/4HANA, Oracle ERP and Fusion, and SaaS platforms such as NetSuite. Extend pipeline development to legacy ERP environments and adjacent enterprise applications to ensure comprehensive data integration.
Data Harmonization & Modeling
Create and maintain standardized data frameworks that align disparate datasets across systems. Develop canonical enterprise data models to normalize information from heterogeneous sources, enabling interoperability and consistent reporting. Implement logical and physical data designs for relational storage, dimensional analytics, and enterprise semantic layers.
Define and enforce cross-system mapping rules for critical business domains, including Customers, Vendors, Materials, Chart of Accounts, Cost Centers, organizational hierarchies, and financial transactions. Translate functional requirements into technical implementations using SQL and Python, ensuring accurate representation of business logic across platforms.
Collaboration & Problem Solving
Partner closely with ERP functional teams and data specialists to interpret business rules and convert them into scalable transformation logic. Develop validation and reconciliation processes to monitor data integrity and identify root causes of inconsistencies.
Diagnose and resolve systemic data issues such as duplicate master records, conflicting definitions, incomplete datasets, and configuration-related discrepancies. Take ownership of complex data challenges and deliver reliable, production-grade solutions that support enterprise-scale operations.
Technical Expertise
- 5–8+ years in data engineering, integration, or platform development
- Proven experience with SAP, Oracle ERP, and SaaS-based ERP systems
- Advanced SQL and strong Python proficiency for pipeline development
- Hands-on experience building scalable ETL/ELT processes
- Deep understanding of relational and dimensional data modeling
- Familiarity with canonical data models and distributed data architectures
- Knowledge of ERP domains: Finance, General Ledger, AP/AR, Supply Chain, Procurement, Inventory, and Master Data
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical data solutions
- Experience supporting ERP migrations, transformations, or multi-system integrations
