We’re seeking a Senior Data Scientist to play a central role in shaping data-driven decisions and advancing AI capabilities within a distributed, remote-first team. In this position, you’ll leverage vast financial datasets—including transaction records, user behavior, and API interactions—to uncover meaningful patterns and build intelligent systems that drive business impact.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct in-depth predictive and descriptive analyses across finance, product, and marketing domains to inform strategy
- Lead the research, prototyping, and deployment of data-intensive applications, with a focus on agentic AI architectures
- Own end-to-end development of machine learning solutions—from data exploration and modeling to production deployment and optimization
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand operational needs and translate them into analytical initiatives
- Drive best practices in statistical modeling, MLOps, and scalable data pipelines
- Help shape the future of our data science function by advocating for robust methodologies and innovation
What We’re Looking For
- Proven track record as a Data Scientist in financial services, trading, or brokerage environments
- Strong command of Python and core data science libraries such as pandas and scikit-learn
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and experience with cloud data warehouses like Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift
- Familiarity with Trino, Iceberg, and modern ETL workflows
- Solid foundation in statistical modeling, including supervised and unsupervised learning techniques
- Experience deploying models into production and maintaining them at scale
- Ability to communicate technical results clearly to non-technical audiences
- Comfort working in fast-moving, collaborative settings
Nice to Have
- Hands-on experience with Large Language Models or agent-based AI frameworks such as Google Agent Engine
- Exposure to semantic modeling tools like dbt Semantic Layer, Cube.js, or LookML
