Responsibilities
- Design, evaluate, and improve daily operations of Kubernetes and CNCF-compliant infrastructure platforms
- Operate and optimize multi-cluster, multi-region setups using service mesh and cluster management tools such as Istio, Linkerd, Cluster API, and Kyverno
- Support the development of the DevOps and platform strategy, including Kubernetes upgrades, application packaging, migration to EKS, and enabling reliable production deployments
- Assist in developing and maintaining the Kong AI Gateway with focus on dataplane deployment, ACM/SSL integration, and monitoring through DataDog
- Develop and manage progressive delivery systems using GitOps, canary deployments, and automation tools like Flux and Flagger
- Manage CI pipelines using CircleCI in coordination with GitOps workflows
- Uphold Infrastructure as Code and GitOps practices, including automated testing for infrastructure changes
- Support Zero Trust security models using Vault, service identity, and mTLS-secured service meshes
- Create automation based on policies using OPA or Kyverno
- Utilize provisioning systems like Crossplane or ACK for native cloud integration within Kubernetes
- Partner with Security, Data, and AI teams on platform and DevOps-related decisions
