Key Responsibilities
- Lead and scale engineering teams focused on customer-facing products and core platform infrastructure, emphasizing reliability, security, and long-term maintainability.
- Collaborate closely with Product Management to deliver high-impact features that meet enterprise requirements and market demands.
- Guide technical strategy and investment decisions, balancing innovation with operational excellence across distributed systems.
- Develop leadership depth by mentoring engineering managers and directors, fostering a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.
- Represent the company within Poland’s technology community, strengthening local talent pipelines and regional visibility.
- Help define the operating model and growth roadmap for the Poland engineering site, working alongside global leadership to align with long-term objectives.
Qualifications
Candidates should bring 15+ years of engineering experience, including leadership roles at the Director level or above within SaaS or large-scale product organizations. Proven success in scaling teams through growth phases and advancing technical maturity is essential.
Deep familiarity with cloud platforms, distributed systems, and enterprise software development is required. Experience leading AI-adjacent product development is beneficial, though broad leadership capability is prioritized over narrow specialization.
Local experience in Poland or Central/Eastern Europe is strongly preferred. The ideal candidate operates effectively at both strategic and operational levels, with a track record of building high-performing engineering cultures.
