- Conduct pre- and post-deployment validation to verify system performance and reliability
- Identify, document, and analyze defects while delivering actionable metrics to development teams
- Investigate failures using debug tools, device logs, and bus traces to support root cause analysis
- Monitor field performance through telematics and implement proactive quality improvements
- Manage firmware release cycles, ensuring smooth and traceable deployments
- Build and maintain internal tools such as test automation frameworks, provisioning utilities, and log analysis systems
- Develop data processing and visualization tools to interpret test and field data using SQL and analytics platforms
- Collaborate with engineering teams to identify tooling needs and deliver scalable, efficient solutions
- Train team members on tool usage and promote best practices across development and operations
- Stay current with emerging technologies to continuously refine QA methodologies and tooling infrastructure
What We’re Looking For
- 7+ years in quality assurance for embedded systems or firmware
- 5+ years developing internal tools such as test frameworks or automation utilities
- 2+ years building and running automated test suites (e.g., Cypress, GIT-based pipelines)
- Proven experience with QA processes and test methodologies in a technical engineering role
- Strong command of Unix/Linux environments and command-line tools
- Hands-on programming experience with Python in test or tool development contexts
- Experience integrating automation into CI/CD systems such as GitHub Actions or Jenkins
Nice to Have
