Role Overview
We're seeking an experienced engineering leader to guide the development and evolution of our core security platform. You'll be responsible for managing engineers who design, build, and maintain systems that protect critical infrastructure and enable secure product delivery across the organization.
Key Responsibilities

- Collaborate with security and product teams to define roadmap priorities and architectural direction
- Oversee the design and implementation of scalable, resilient security infrastructure
- Ensure engineering practices align with security standards, compliance requirements, and operational reliability

- Translate complex technical challenges into clear strategies for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Qualifications
- Proven experience managing software engineering teams, with recent leadership in security or platform engineering
- Strong technical foundation in distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and security principles
- Experience scaling engineering processes in fast-moving environments
- Ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on technical oversight
- Excellent communication skills with a track record of cross-functional collaboration
Location and Flexibility
This position is open to remote candidates across Australia and New Zealand. Occasional collaboration with team members may require flexible scheduling across time zones.
