Field Technical Engineer – Electrophysiology – This role supports the clinical and technical deployment of advanced cardiac therapies across the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland, with regular travel into North England and Scotland. As a key member of the Region North EP team, you will operate independently to ensure seamless integration of electrophysiology technologies in live medical environments.
Role Responsibilities
- Deliver expert-level clinical guidance and training on the proper use and application of electrophysiology devices during procedures.
- Stay current with evolving therapies, emerging technologies, and competitive offerings within the cardiac space.
- Support sales teams with technical insight and real-time troubleshooting during customer engagements.
- Represent the company at trade events and exhibitions by leading product demonstrations and addressing technical inquiries from regional stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience
Candidates must hold a BSc in a science-related field and demonstrate substantial experience with electrophysiology systems—either through direct clinical use or prior industry roles. In-depth understanding of cardiac anatomy and electrophysiological principles is essential.
Proficiency with 3D mapping platforms is highly valued. The position requires strong written and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to operate autonomously while traveling up to 75% of the time.
