Lead the technical delivery and ongoing success of advanced edge infrastructure platforms for customers across Saudi Arabia and the broader Middle East. This role blends deep technical execution with long-term account ownership, ensuring platforms are deployed effectively and evolve to meet customer needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct full lifecycle deployment of edge computing systems, including configuration, validation, and production readiness across hardware, networking, Kubernetes, storage, and GPU layers
- Serve as the primary technical contact after go-live, guiding adoption, operational maturity, and platform optimization
- Develop and maintain Joint Success Plans, aligning technical milestones with business outcomes and using them to guide prioritization and risk management
- Build trusted relationships with customer engineering, IT, OT, and security teams through consistent, clear communication and technical leadership
- Identify expansion opportunities by assessing workload growth, cross-business use cases, and regional scaling potential
- Proactively detect architectural limitations, scaling constraints, and technical debt, coordinating resolution with internal engineering and product teams
- Ensure compliance with sovereign data policies, security standards, and access controls specific to national and regulated environments
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to deployment runbooks, best practices, and operational standards
- Provide structured feedback to Product and Engineering teams based on real-world deployment challenges and customer usage patterns
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years in infrastructure, platform engineering, SRE, or technical account management with hands-on deployment experience
- Strong command of Linux, networking, Kubernetes, storage, and GPU-accelerated environments
- Proven ability to manage technical relationships in high-pressure, regulated sectors
- Skilled at troubleshooting in live production systems and making real-time decisions under pressure
- Willingness to travel frequently within Saudi Arabia and the region for on-site deployments
- Clear communication style effective across engineering teams and executive stakeholders
Preferred Background
- Experience with edge computing, modular data centers, or distributed infrastructure deployments
- Familiarity with AI training/inference workloads and GPU cluster operations
- Work history in sovereign or national-scale technology environments
- Experience operating in Saudi Arabia, UAE, or other Middle Eastern markets
- Ability to lead through ambiguity and own outcomes from start to finish
