Shape the future of booking experiences as a Senior Frontend Engineer focused on third-party web platforms. You'll lead the development of high-performance, accessible interfaces that power delegated booking flows, ensuring smooth, secure interactions for guests and hosts alike.
What You’ll Do
- Build and maintain scalable web components and features using JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and GraphQL, aligned with platform standards.
- Optimize frontend systems for speed, reliability, and observability, using data to guide improvements.
- Collaborate with Payments, Trust, and backend teams to implement secure, compliant integrations that meet accessibility and performance benchmarks.
- Document technical designs and implementation strategies, breaking down complex initiatives into deliverable milestones.
- Conduct code and design reviews, contribute to internal tooling, and support onboarding for other engineers.
- Work alongside Product and Design to define scope, evaluate tradeoffs, and refine experiences based on user feedback and metrics.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a focus on frontend development.
- Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven track record of owning end-to-end features and leading cross-team frontend integrations.
- Strong proficiency in modern web technologies, including React, GraphQL, HTML, CSS, and TypeScript.
- Deep understanding of accessibility, performance optimization, and frontend best practices.
- Ability to communicate effectively, influence technical direction beyond your immediate team, and partner across disciplines.
Work Environment

Compensation & Benefits
The base salary range for this role is $190,000–$220,000 USD. Additional compensation includes eligibility for bonus, equity, and benefits. Employees also receive travel credits. This role is eligible for remote work within the U.S., subject to state registration requirements.
