Responsibilities
- Develop and sustain high-performance FastAPI services and RESTful APIs supporting core domains such as authentication, scheduling, payments, insurance, messaging, and clinical operations.
- Create secure, well-documented API endpoints designed for reliable consumption by AI agents and internal platforms in live environments.
- Support frontend development using TypeScript, React, and Next.js, and collaborate with mobile teams on API specifications and integration troubleshooting.
- Design efficient PostgreSQL database schemas using RDS or Aurora, manage schema changes via Alembic, and enhance performance with Redis caching.
- Implement asynchronous task processing using Celery, RabbitMQ, and Redis for handling webhooks, notifications, and background jobs.
- Monitor live systems and resolve issues using observability tools including Datadog and Sentry.
- Write comprehensive unit and integration tests using pytest and maintain end-to-end Playwright tests as user flows evolve.
- Help maintain GitHub Actions workflows for continuous integration and deployment to ensure reliable releases.
