Role Overview
As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for architecting and managing the core cloud infrastructure that powers our SaaS platform. Hosted on AWS and supported by Cloudflare, this platform demands high availability, security, and performance. Your work will directly influence system reliability, deployment speed, and developer efficiency across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and optimize cloud infrastructure with a focus on uptime, cost control, and secure, repeatable deployments
- Advance Infrastructure-as-Code practices using Terraform and streamline CI/CD pipelines with CircleCI and ECS to accelerate development cycles
- Develop and maintain observability systems using Prometheus, Grafana, and CloudWatch to ensure proactive monitoring and clear performance insights
- Lead incident response efforts, conduct root cause analyses, and implement improvements to prevent recurrence
- Enforce security best practices including identity management, encryption, access controls, and compliance with SOC 2 standards
- Create automation tools and internal documentation that reduce manual effort and strengthen system resilience
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years in DevOps or SRE roles, with at least 2 years focused on AWS production environments
- Proven experience with core AWS services such as EC2, ECS, RDS, Aurora, VPC, S3, IAM, and CloudWatch
- Strong command of Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform and experience managing complex configurations
- Familiarity with CI/CD workflows, particularly with CircleCI, and deployment strategies like blue/green and canary releases
- Proficiency in containerization (Docker, ECS) and scripting in languages such as Python, Ruby, Go, or Bash
- Hands-on background in Linux system administration, performance tuning, logging, and secure configuration
- Experience supporting compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, PCI, or ISO 27001, especially in regulated industries
- Demonstrated ability to lead during incidents and drive automation to reduce operational burden

Work Environment
