Aircall is looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer - Observability to join our team. You will be responsible for building and maintaining the systems that provide visibility into our platform's health and performance.
What You'll Do
- Design, implement, and scale our observability stack for logging, metrics, and tracing
- Build tools and automation to improve system reliability and developer efficiency
- Collaborate with engineering teams to establish and enforce SLOs and SLIs
- Lead incident response and post-mortem processes for infrastructure-related events
- Optimize monitoring and alerting to reduce noise and improve signal
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of professional experience in infrastructure or SRE roles
- Proven expertise in building and managing observability platforms at scale
- Deep knowledge of monitoring tools, log aggregation, and distributed tracing
- Strong experience with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS
- Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code and automation using tools like Terraform or Ansible
- Ability to troubleshoot complex systems and communicate findings effectively
Nice to Have
- Experience with modern observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, or similar
- Background in a high-volume SaaS environment
- Scripting or programming skills in Python, Go, or similar languages
- Knowledge of container orchestration with Kubernetes

This is a remote position open to candidates based in Germany.
