Role Overview
As the Senior IT Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for managing the complete lifecycle of Windows Server environments. This includes planning, deploying, configuring, and maintaining server infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance across global office locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end operations of Windows Server systems, covering installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, and ongoing administration
- Lead infrastructure initiatives across local and remote offices, guiding projects from initial planning through successful implementation and transition
- Support and maintain specialized trading application environments, including provisioning resources, managing updates, and ensuring system stability
- Coordinate with external vendors and service providers, aligning their deliverables with internal business and technology requirements
- Provide consistent technical support during core business hours, with periodic out-of-hours and weekend availability as operational needs arise
- Deliver advanced (3rd line) support while remaining adaptable to assist with frontline (1st and 2nd line) issues based on team demands
- Travel occasionally to remote office sites to support deployments, troubleshooting, and system enhancements
Work Environment
This is a hybrid role requiring both on-site and remote work. The position involves scheduled core-hour coverage with additional flexibility for after-hours support, including occasional weekend availability to accommodate system updates or critical incidents.
