Convaris GmbH is looking for a Senior Java Entwickler (m/w/d) to play a key role in designing, implementing, and evolving complex software solutions. You will contribute to modern IT systems in a future-oriented environment characterized by flat hierarchies.
What You'll Do
- Conceive, develop, and maintain high-performance and scalable Java applications.
- Further develop existing software solutions using modern frameworks and tools.
- Take technical responsibility within the development team, including conducting code reviews and contributing to architectural decisions.
- Analyze requirements and implement them into efficient, clean code.
- Collaborate closely with product management, QA, and other development teams.
- Co-design development processes and CI/CD workflows.
- Select and evaluate new technologies and tools.
What We're Looking For
- A completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification.
- Several years of professional experience in Java development.
- Very good knowledge of Java (from version 11) and Spring / Spring Boot.
- Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and DevOps approaches.
- A structured, independent way of working combined with strong team skills.
- Good German and/or English language skills.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of microservices architectures and RESTful APIs.
